I fought at Gettysburg. Generals need to be more forthright before they get their book deals. There were no book deals back then. I am attacking generals who dissent on current policy UNTIL they leave the service. I am also criticising generals who keep their mouths shut long after any rational man can believe a failed policy is working.

Why are vets who post on SI with the excception to Ed Cynd always so fucking sure of themselves in their support for whatever US policy is. Maybe if you were more creative in your thinking, you could get a book deal Geoff. By the way i wasnt in the military and i feel free to comment on issues. I also have never been a terrorist and i assume that goes for you. So what makes you such an expert on terrorism?
