Taxes!! I got home today and there was a notice from the IRS saying that we owed an additional 335.00 and change from 2005. I'll have to dig up all that paperwork again. When our payroll service changed over to a new software, the person inputting the data make a mistake. Instead of 20% taken out, they took out .002. I never looked at my paycheck. It was direct deposited into our account. Several things transpired at that time so when I looked at the bank balance, I wasn't at all surprised to see a larger amount then usual. The IRS said we owed over 20,000.00+ dollars in taxes plus penalties and interest. We usually file an extension and do our taxes in August. Anyway, after 4 hours on the phone with a very patient and knowlegable woman from the IRS, we agreed that we owed 15,000.00 in taxes and the penalties and interest would be reduced to 2100.00. Everything was paid, or so I thought until I got home today and saw that they are now saying we owe an additional 335.00 and change. Only the government can get away with something like this. I can't even imagine going to a client a year later and saying oh, by the way, you owe this much even after we reached an agreed upon amount.

I got the chance to see Wayne Newton in Vegas 28 years ago. He was fantastic! We also got to see Waylon Jennings and Jessie Colter too. They were good but not as good, in my opinion, as Wayne.

That man can flat put on a show!
