I will never understand why the military even considered the 9mm handgun. There is not a single person I know that doesnt agree that any defensive handgun calibre must begin with a 4. My Ruger 45 only holds 8 bullets plus one in the chamber whereas a lot of 9mm's hold 15 or more cartridges. But, I only need ONE to take someone out. Heck, I have seen people hit in the arm when I carried one in Nam and it sent them spinning. jdn
