Grocery stores usually have pay phones.

They do? Not in my area that I know of. I saw something a week or two ago that mentioned that the number of pay phones in America has declined 50% in the last ten years. I'll bet they declined 50% in the 10 years before that, too! Not that they should be mandated or anything, just an observation.
