A psychology PhD could have a field day studying the self-reinforcing loops of paranoia generated on Internet chat boards. No different than taking a dozen people and cutting them off from the world in a trapped elevator, then watching how a crazed, irrational mob mentality emerges.

Lots of crazed educated '20' somethings in California currently renting that need redemption from the housing bubble bursting.. Mish's blog is a leading source of their think tank<g>

No doubt the bust is as bad as advertised. A couple of folks on your board right here even predicted it being a disaster especially in Florida. Ground zero seems to be SW Florida. The sky doesn't seem to be falling in Sarasota or Ft Myers unless you are in real estate<g>
