military operation that is making these changes possible only began in full strength on June 15. To say that the surge is failing is absurd The Left doesn't want the surge to succeed. Period. The MSM don't want the surge to succeed. Period. The Left wing in Congress doesn't want the surge to succeed. Period. We all know why .....the Left has told the lie so often they themselves believe it. Plus they want their Lefties to win, at any cost. Even truth. The "good guys" want the surge to succeed, and for Iraq to succeed so they can protect their own country. Our Military "good guys and gals" are making that happen.

the bulk of the article makes sense, reviewing events that are now historical, but I find it difficult to reconcile the following 2 statements : as I saw during my visit to Iraq in May This is remarkable because the military operation that is making these changes possible only began in full strength on June 15
