Some information and proof of the statements, please...

Tens of thousands of American lives have been lost and shattered for nothing.

Need exact totals for each lives lost and American plus Allied wounded....separate numbers please. I believe you will find the number of Americans KIA is less than 3600....for the entire total of 4 1/2 years. Terrible as that is, we lose more people in traffic accidents each year --over 40,000. (I looked it up so know the number is correct)

We are in the final stages of suffering a tragic defeat of our our making.

The only we be defeated is if the Democrats have their way.

And we have ruined our financial and military capability in the process.

Just what in the heck does that mean?????

Since the violence is mostly in the Baghdad and Anbar areas, the whole country isn't in complete shambles.

the region is increasingly unstable

Its always been unstable. Well at least since the Turkish empire was broken up.

terrorism has never been stronger.

And yet the promised terror attacks on our homeland haven't materialized - yet, knock on wood.

We are in the final stages of suffering a tragic defeat of our our making.

A lot of people seem to be hoping so and trying to make it happen. The end remains to be seen. You certainly advocate America embracing defeat do you not?

And we have ruined our financial and military capability in the process.

Our economy is doing pretty good. Our biggest economic problems are demographic ones involving FICA, Medicare, and Medicaid and if some folks have their way, nationalized health care.

Our military capability is not ruined either.

This is the most significant self-inflicted foreign policy in American history -- far worse than Vietnam in terms of its long term damage.

You have to say that to justify your extreme attitudes and feelings.
