Oh, you're back and I was just thinking how rude it was of you to slip off without saying good bye.

Yes, the time between my posts is about you and also a sign of my flawed character.

Vietnam illustrates the fact that staying is not always better than leaving when it comes to overseas adventures.

Everything that is legitimate must be protected and supported.

By 150,000 foreign troops? Get real. An Iraqi government that needs 150,000 American troops to exist isn't legitimate.

It's real simple Steve. We are bound in this existence by our resolve to contribute to the well being of all. Conscientious people accept that and seek the well being of one in response to another with liberation from oppressive coercion. Persons who seek an escape from that responsibility are bound in despair and the misery of their selfishness, which drives them in their envy to lash out continually at those living up to the nobility of their birth; but, it will never get them out of anything. Reason fails those who would sacrifice principle and conscience for loyalty to partisan machination. Does that reveal a character flaw? You decide.

Wow, you're nuts. I can't think of any other way to say it...
