re: This is why we need an independent press so that we can find out the truth. We are told over and over again by Bush the problem in Iraq is Syria and Iran. And yet, when the numbers are tallied, it turns out its the Saudis who are the problem; the same Saudis who perpetrated 9/11. There is so much deception from this admin it makes me sick. It's like 90% of what they say is meant to deceive the American people. It's not small stuff, it's huge stuff. And it's blatant... it's so well conceived by their "marketing" that it runs just to the edge of truth, but doesn't cross the line. There is always a modifier that that makes it technically the truth. But the impression it leaves is the opposite. I've been around a long time and never seen anything like it. I always felt the government was on the people's side... now it seems they have a different agenda than what's best for the country. They are in competition with reality; they are in competition with the people. It's so un-American and sickening and scary, all at the same time.
