Again your analysis only holds true if the war continues and the deficit spending weak dollar policy continue into the future. Then you will be right. There is time to corrrect all this and you shouldnt underestimate the power of the american consumer in all this. Its a good thing to have economic prosperity in parts of the world other than US and Western Europe. The first priority for all these old and new power centers is to rid the world of islamic extremism. I think the russians have the same aim but see the world differently, particularly iran. Some of this is wishful thinking on their part brought on by economic considerations.
