lol..

you know what?

my son lived off of taco bell during college

one does what one must...

oh and he is still quite slim and still alive...

:)

ps...

in addition to the yummy sushi, earlier i had some toast, coffee (french press, not trying to be artsy fartsy, haute coffeur , just like it better that way) and some pita chips with hummus
and dayamm....i'm still mightily impressed with the homemade sushi....gonna prepare that again, only this time with guests who will be thrilled

getting ahead of myself here, tomorrow i think i will grill some turkey sausage, pork tenderloin and veggies (onions, peppers....red, yellow, orange...mushrooms, garlic, drizzled with olive oil and fresh rosemary) and the last of our spinach salad with balsamic dressing and gorgonzola and the last of our honey roasted pecans!

works for me

(and just about everyone else eating here around me...hahah)

We aren't eating well this week. My father-in-law had a severe stroke, so we are at the hospital a lot and grabbing food on the run, and trying to get my mom-in-law to eat.

Yesterday I had a bowl of organic granola with skim milk, OJ, and cof.
Dinner we went to On the Border. I had chips, steak nachos supreme, but only ate half, and two margaritas- with salt. I don't htink there was ANY alcohol in them though.

My father-in-law was a terrible eater- no veggies, red meat, cheese, lots of beer, desserts.

You would think seeing him now, unable to eat anything, would send us running to a health food restaurant... but Noooooo..
