We always pay cash and drive our cars into the ground. I always get the newest one, because with Dan travelling so much, I don't like being alone and on the road at night with anything unreliable.
We have had the best luck with Nissan and Hyundai. We got a Hyundai for Ammo in high school and it has been so amazing (now 9 years old and going strong), we have bought two more- one for me, and one for Dan's mother.
Lest you think we are totally unAmerican-- we do have a Ford truck. No Confederate flag or gunrack in it though.

This car/truck/suv.....what oh what should we call it?

How about car...?

I've had a few things go wrong with Brutus, for sure, but we are willing to go to the expense of keeping it in perfect working condition because it is a specialty vehicle and serves many purposes.

I got rid of my '73 VW bug once because I was hard up for money..........what a mistake. I know I'd have some very serious regrets if I got rid of Brutus.
