<close minded Wahabbist idealogy> Those who would harm us know what they are doing when they emphasize 'education', although it is closer to brainwashing. We must counter with education -- real education in our universities and by sending our students abroad in far larger numbers than we do today. It is the most powerful weapon we have. We could not bomb Vietnam into submission, and we won't bomb anybody in the ME into submission so long as we lose on the education front. As for the cost of diplomacy, we spend a thousand dollars on the military for every dollar we spend on diplomacy -- get real.
