Victory in the war on terror means uprooting it. Far from uprooting terror in Iraq, we are watering it, fertilizing it and propagating it. There is no way to use our military to uproot terror -- to uproot terror will require leadership on other fronts, leadership that is abysmally lacking in America today. As such, if we maintain our current course we will continue to be losers -- we are being and will continue to be defeated if we persist as we are today in seeking a primarily military solution.
