Heh! Heh! More "centrist" wisdom from Comrade Dale Bakerski:

<<< "If a Bush-Cheney clone pair is elected in 2008, their swearing in should include truth in advertising, i.e. "We swear to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States except when we think it interferes with the Executive carrying out National Security Policy as we and only we see fit."

That's what we have now."

The opportunity to make money is at the core of the Green movement, imho.

Just look at Al Gore. He's figured out how to make millions out of his fake environmental piety. Ya gotta hand it to him. He knows how to manipulate the devout and gullible.

I just received an email today that is illustrative of the BS of the movement. It's all about how to cash in on it.

Here's the first two paragraphs, which pretty much tell the tale:

What: "Realizing the Tax Benefits of Green Building" Seminar
When: August 24, 2007
Where: Crowne Plaza Union Square -- San Francisco, CA

One of the most attractive advantages of Green Building and Renewable Energy is tapping into the monetary benefits offered by various governmental organizations. However, these benefits can be difficult to understand, and are constantly changing.
