"The myth is that Iraq can be what you dream it to be." That response avoids dealing with the premise I gave you. I suggested two possibilities, both realistic; and depending on events in the near future, either of them could come to pass. The idea that we can just 'leave' is a myth. We will have an involved relationship either way, and what we do in the here and now will to a great extent define that relationship. Short answer... This aint no Vietnam Steve.
