Under your assumption, 1% is plenty for AMD to capture the performance halo. You only need one low volume product to do that. 7% of AMD's server volumes are SE parts. It would be a smashing success if they could have 4% at 2.6GHz, 2% at 2.8GHz, and 1% at 3.0GHz.

Unfortunately for them, their slides suggested a top bin of 2.3+ GHz. Of course, some people will remind me that "2.3GHz or higher" could mean 3.0GHz....
