Blueberries are on sale now, 3 pints for $5.00, I'm picking up 6 more pints tomorrow morning, we store them in 1/2 gallon containers and put them in the freezer, they last forever, or they would if we didn't eat them...

I stock up when it is on sale - especially Ken's.

My brother's first job in 1956 was making Ken's Salad Dressing in the basement of Ken's Steak House in Framingham, Ma. Ken Hanna's business, which started as a hot dog stand on route 9 in Framingham, grew into a very big enterprise. Ken's Foods Inc. also makes Paul Newman's salad dressings, among numerous other products. Ken's youngest son Tim out maneuvered his older brothers (Mark and Mike) to control the family's wide spread interests. My brother and Tim have been friends for more than 50 years. In 1966 my father bought some commercial property from Ken, and has been collecting (my Dad's now 92) a handsome rent check each month for decades. Timmy gave me my first ride in his 1958 Corvette. Since then I have owned eight of them. Pardon me, I couldn't help but spout some memories.
