First time anyone has accused me of being complacent about the future. I am anything but.

I notice that once again you dodge my question about different standards the world applies in judgement. This time you use a new dodge "Israel will be destroyed, and it will be Israel's fault because they didn't follow the right policy."

It's still a dodge. Could you stop dodging and answer the point? It's not about assigning blame, its about using objective judgement - REAL objective judgment. That's the only way to solve the situation. That's the only way a REAL peace process will happen. Can you use REAL objective judgement on Jenin and Nahr el Bared? Can you see the situation? Because if you can't, why should I trust your judgement on anything?

In my judgement, Israel will indeed be destroyed in my lifetime

Certainly there have been several previous attempts to destroy Israel, very serious ones at that. I don't know why you pronounce that they will work next time around - what has changed? Furthermore, if the people who tried last time are so bound and determined to succeed next time, what makes you think that ANY behavior on Israel's part will change their plans? It's not like Israel hasn't made very serious attempts at peace - look at Camp David, Taba? Did those offers get a counter-proposal or a terror war in return? You say you're not about assigning blame, yet what are you doing but assigning blame on Israel?

If what Israel's enemies object to is the fact of Israel's existence, then Israel can't "fix" it except by ceasing to exist. If that's the situation, Israel had best secure itself by making it clear to its enemies that it will not die alone. Dropping your guard and giving concessions in some fake peace process that is designed to use your desire for peace to destroy you is the ultimate folly.

It's what the Allies did at Munich, except this time they won't even have the excuse of being fooled about the intentions of the other side. Hitler claimed to want peace, but Hizbuallah and Hamas and Iran say they want the Israelis dead. If your only reaction is to say, gosh, Israel better try harder to gain peace and security, make some more concessions, then you are making your sympathies pretty obvious too.
