<Israel is supposed to do something to obtain peace> Yes, or be destroyed. It will not be destroyed because of what I want or what I say. It will be destroyed if it cannot find both peace and security -- that is the fate of Israel. As I have tried patiently to underline, this is the objective reality. I did use the word "objective" to refer to your thoughts on who is to blame -- it is you who are stuck on the idea that blame is what is needed here. The simple fact of life for Israel is that it is Israel that needs peace and security. In the short term you can have security without peace, but in the long only peace can save Israel. Seek peace. Tell us your ideas for reaching peace. Talk to us about peace. Talking about blame merely locks you into a hopeless future for Israel.

Or are you simply buying the idea that Arab leaders have the right to propagandize their people that all the faults of the Arab world belong to the Israelis (just as Hitler told the Germans that all the troubles of Germany were the fault of the Jews) and then watch them get run over, as an unstoppable act of nature?

Which brings up a question I've wondered. How is it that that Hamas TV station was allowed to broadcast that Mujahadeen anti-Zionist mouse crap (if it was true, it was sort of hard to believe) to Palestinian children without the Israelis blowing up the station? If I were Israeli I'd make part of the Gaza independence stipulation no hate speech. If they are going to use their media to promote hate, you'd think the Israelis would give one warning then blow up the media delivery capability...

You don't "blame" Israel but if every Israeli gets slaughtered, they will have only themselves to blame.

Jews have lived amongst Palestinian Arabs for centuries, and generally got along quite well. If they were to do so again, why would every single one of them suddenly get slaughtered when they didn't all get slaughtered for centuries? Oh yeah, the eviction of 80% of the non-Jewish people from what would become Israel in 1948 changed everything.....
