Nadine - is there any recognition you see growing that voting democratic is voting for the destruction of Israel?

Radical Islamism is a rising tide in the Muslim world, Bearcat. Those who are desperate not to confront it will be accordingly desperate to find some way to find a way to live with it. If that means coming into accord with Arab and Iranian desires to destroy Israel and remove all non-Muslims from the Middle East (Jews first, natch), they will do so.

You can hear the left edging ever closer to the accomadation, whether its those who say that if the Arabs don't accept Israel, then Israel must have been a "mistake" (& never mind how Israel has performed vs the Arab world) to those who just are pre-declaring that Israel will be destroyed so they have no stake left if it is. Told ya so, they will say. The Israelis should have done more for peace.

The mainline Dems aren't there yet - if for no other reason than most US Jews vote for them - but Kos and the netroots are pushing them ever closer.
