At the local supermarket they sell for $1.99 a pound, and we buy it up, it's excellent pasta and it's low carb and low calorie... I spoke with the people at Dreamfield's corporate headquarters, they explained that because a portion of the pasta isn't digested it also reduces the calorie intake, so it only has 123 digestible calories as well as only 5 carbs per serving... we eat it all the time, it's well worth it if you like pasta while controlling your carbs and calories, we consider it a form of health food...
