If anyone is ignorant about the Middle East, it is you. Americans are well aware of the hostile, backward nature of Middle East Muslim/Arab dictatorships. Many of the backward Muslim/Arab nations keep their women covered up, from head to foot, so that no one can look at any portion of their bodies, including their faces. Among the reasons given for this puritanical, stone-age treatment of women is because Muslim/Arab men cannot be trusted to control their sexual behavior if they get a glimpse of female flesh. Another reason is that the backward, Muslim/Arab dictatorships want to totally brainwash and indoctrinate their people, and they attempt to do this via sexual deprivation, promising Arab/Muslim men all the sex they want, but only after they are dead. Muslims are promised something like an eternity of 99 virgins, and all the sex that they want, but they can only collect on this promise after they die. Americans look at this draconian, hostile behavior by the Muslim/Arab world, and then look at the advanced, civilized, beneficial nature of our closest friend and helpful ally, Israel, and much prefer Israel as a friend than the backward, apartheid Arab/Muslim world. Anyway...... all of the latest polls show strong, majority support for Israel.

Israel's population consists of 5,415,000 Jewish citizens (76%); 1,425,000 million Arab citizens (20%) and 310,000 Others (4%). Arabs are not only allowed to vote and hold office, they are allowed to have their own schools and their own mosques. It might amaze you that Israel is one of the few nations in the Middle East that allows Arab women to vote! Israel’s ambassador to Finland was an Arab! Israel's Director General of the Ministry of Interior was an Arab! Arabic and Hebrew are official languages in Israel! Israel's Arab citizens have more rights and a higher standard of living than in almost all of the neighboring Arab/Muslim states. Elroy, you might change your mind about your dislike for Israel, or your dislike for Jews, or even your dislike for other minorities, if you were better informed.
