Do you recall the market reaction when asbestos suits were filed against makers of auto parts ? Or building materials ? Or when drug effect suits were filed against Merck ? Or when regulatory actions were announced against fannie mae ? This kind of news is evaluated quickly and reaction is very strong within hours.

Not really. AMD is down 10% after their technology details became known last Thursday.

How about Intel will prosper, and AMD will wither slowly ? With this trend continuing for another 3 years.
