Sorry, I can't identify either forest or trees in this scenario. The analogy is, er, confusing.

That, Karen, is the beauty of my term, "interpretive confusion". I think it's kind of spot on when it comes to a discussion like you and I are having.

I'm trying to simplify, and you are trying too hard to re interpret my words.

You might want to visit with your local Social Security office also. IOW, you just might be eligible for SS when you reach 65 plus 10 months.

See how you too, can enroll in the program the rest of us have contributed to all out working lives. Doing so would automatically enroll you in Medicare and ensure that you wouldn't have to do all this research on your own.

As an aside. I found the lack of information astounding before I received my "official" Medicare card three months before the month of my 65th birthday.

Hoping to end your relentless state of confusion sooner, rather than later, I think its best we take our little jibs and jabs to PM so we won't bore the rest of the thread.
