Nor have I.. I've been out of the "scene" for a 1 1/2..

But the logic is sound.. And even if India was not actively supporting such efforts to support the Taliban attempting to take over Pakistan, I have to believe they certainly aren't particularly unhappy to see Pakistan in a bit of internal turmoil.. (so long as it doesn't wash over into India)..

It's just another layer of Foreign Policy factors to think about.

But it's the same logic that applies to Iran and their activities in Iraq. They have no desire to see Iraq become a united and functional democracy (or even pseudo-democracy)..
