She was sued overseas by a loaded Billionare. She knew the deck was stacked against her in Britain, and didn't have the funds to fight him there.

We're getting sidetracked here. This is about foreign libel law superseding American freedom of the press. I'm with the ACLU on this one, it's a 1st Amendment case with huge implications.
