Ik, you really should read the investigation by the Army Inspector General on Tillman. It makes it pretty clear that there wasn't an intentional "coverup" of the shooting. The problem was mostly that people didn't understand the rules for how to investigate a fratricide. That, and there was a lot of concern for Tillman's family, the people involved didn't want to "trickle" information to them, especially if there was a possibility that the news media would find out first and the family would hear things on the TV news before the Army could provide it to them.

Read the IG report before guessing what happened with your own prejudices.

I do think it's possible he was shot by accident.

Great. Like pulling teeth to get that admission. Now try telling stockman scott and company that.

I think the coverup and the situation are suspicious

Is it really suspicious officers would want to cover up an embarrassing FU? CYA is a common worldwide phenomenom.

Why do you need to make stuff up constantly about liberals? Why distort everything?

Its the things liberals say. Like talking as if the army might be a bunch of psychopathic killers. Like, if a bridge fell down, it might be because of a foreign conflict liberals don't approve of.

I mean there's plenty we disagree about, but your distortions make conversation impossible, since who wants to be constantly saying "Look, that's not what I said".

Perhaps you're not aware of what you sound like to others who don't have your political views. I don't see that I'm distorting. I think I'm pretty much on target.

As to the frequent "that's not what I said", people are interested in what was meant.
