The debates do not provide adequate time for a candidate to fully articulate issues. Americans are looking for someone who speaks from the heart. They thought Bush did. They thought that Bush was someone they could invite to a barbeque and he would come and speak to them from the heart. And I still maintain that he is such a person. However, he has given in a become a slave to handlers around him. Not so Obama. He says what he believes in right of the bat. He then leaves it to others to do the explaining not defending as detractors claim. MJ, do you think he is programmed like Hillary is? As the primaries draw closer, people will start talking about Hillary's electability against the Republican likely nominee. She is trailing Obama in that area. In some states even Edwards is doing better than Hillary on that scorecard.
