I certainly hope the next President can authorize monitoring foreign terrorist communications and track their finances w/o restrictions

You obviously trust government a lot more than I do. I thought it was the republican mantra to keep government out of our lives - that a large federal government was not a good thing. If you give government power they will grab it and expand it. I believe, it is the duty of the public to restrict the government to what it is able to do.

You have let a handful of whacko sick zealots usurp our God given freedoms. By doing so you are handing them a victory larger than they could have imagined in their wildest dreams. Virgins heck - you are giving them martyrdom. Doesn't mean we should for an eye blink let down our guard - but we need not change our lives and live in fear because of what just a hand full have done. You live in fear if you wish - not me. If it is honestly a war - then that case needs to be made and all Americans must contribute. In WWII we stopped making autos and were rationed because that was a war needed to be won. This is an elective war - and only a hand full are paying a price.
