Do you have the actual text?
It's filed to SEC.

Does anyone know whether or not part of the SPSN stock sale has to go to paying off loans?
As per agreement of October 24 2006 (AtI-loan) most of the proceeds of asset-sales are due for repayments, but Bob probably has renegotiated these terms with the 500M payment from the convertible so that he can at least keep half a billion from asset-sales - and he still can ask for reinvestment allowance for the remainder.

Could be significantly closer... AMD is only $500M over the limit as of the end of Q2.

SPSN sales can get them at most ~$250M.

Have they found a buyer for 200mm equipment? Without a big chunk of change from that, they'll hit the limit *this* quarter. And even with that, next quarter should drop below $1B cash without selling shares or taking on more debt.

>> That gives might give us an actual drop-dead date for AMD raising more $.

I think that covenant is likely to be renegotiated when needed.

My understanding is 100% has to go to reducing the $2.5B (now $2.0B) morgan stanley loan.

More data: AMD has raised $144M from SPSN sales this Q, and they have about $135M or so they could still raise, from the ~14M shares they still hold.

AMD should not be able to use equity accounting any longer, which should trigger additional losses this quarter, as they are selling SPSN shares for below the price they were issued at ($12).
