China is still ruled by a regime that values it's place at the top more than any other goal. Starting a currency war, especially less than a year before the 2008 Oylmpics, is not in any way in the interest of stability. The Chinese also understand the US political system, they are just doing a little chest pumping to let America know they are paying attention. But they know Bush has a veto on this, and will use it. **ONLY one thing that I think is emerging, the days when the US said "Boo" and everyone got scared are over. The morons in Washington don't know this yet, but I think the rest of the world gets it..
