I've stopped taking shopping trips to the urban area where the illegals live (& SOME work). It's like visiting a 3rd world city, almost nothing other than Spanish heard in the background in stores. In recent yrs this particular city has experienced a large increase in drug violence, that has spilled over into the small towns on it's perimeter, extending many miles beyond it's central slum area.

The law-breaking American employers not only dishonestly gain a competitive advantage on their law-abiding competitors by employing slave wage labor without any benefits, they rub salt in the wound by encouraging (and informing how) their slave laborforce to take advantage of all free taxpayer services and recreation facilities like state parks. That safety net was intended for down-on-their-luck American citizens.

Is it true that Mexicans often send their children to US public schools in states along the border?
The impact of the illegals children in public schools throughout the country has strained their budgets and taken options away from American students. Large chunks of those budgets are diverted for English language classes for the illegals. Proof of citizenship is not requested when students are registered in public schools--that faulty procedure should be remedied.
