realistically - nuke weapon tech is not easy or quick to develop. If Iran has ambitions of that nature, it will be long past President Ahmedinejad's tenure in office.

realistically, Iran has been at it for a long time, and estimates on first bomb completion currently center around 1 to 3 years.

But what does it matter, if you are simply going to wait for Ahmedinijad to make his triumphant announcemnent? Once he announces, you're stuck with MAD with someone who has very little regard for human life.

Do you know what job Ahmedinijad held during the Iran-Iraq war? He was an instructor of the Basiji Brigades. He gave Iranian boys as young as 12 little plastic "keys to paradise" to hang around their necks and sent them out in human waves to clear minefields with their bodies.'

This is the man you want to trust with his finger on the button.
