Maybe a good crash/panic would be good? It would at least show people that they can't rely on the govt to do anything for them. It was the govt who dropped the ball on that bridge in Minnesota and yet people want those same politicians to "fix" the problems that led to the bridge's destruction. It was a good sign that the majority of Americans polled said hell no to raising taxes to fix the bridges that should have already been fixed with the taxes already collected.
