I have never responded to a class action suit on the theory that it was probably my personal stupidity that led to the loss. Obviously, class action lawyers don't believe in the old maxim "Buyer beware."

The funniest thing in this regard was that late 2005, I received a cheque from the U.S. Treasury issued by the US district court NY for $4.39.
I think it was for Global Crossing or Enron and like in about 100 other cases, I didn't ask for it.
It voided anyway so I put it to my collection items, with the statue of Freedom depicted on it, it looks nice.
