Ya, but did you see Atlanta topped the list??? All these young people trying to move on up into the million dollar + homes.

At the time, I shook my head and wondered what was wrong with the picture, now I know. They were in way over their head. Someone should have given them a little guidance. When I was a realtor, the first thing I always did was take the people to a lender to find out exactly how much they could afford, and I never let them go over. If they wanted to live above their means, they had to find another realtor and lender, because I wouldn't let them do it.

I'm talking about the young ones now, the older ones knew pretty much what they could and couldn't afford.

There is exactly one zip code from the upper great plains on that list, and it is in Minneapolis. People seem to have a more restrained view of the world around here. Maybe we just don't have the population.
