Thing is, it shouldn't be a game. It shouldn't be a crazed herd chasing each other in and out. I alway had this fantasy that we could split the market into a trading section and a value investing section, and neither group would have to bother the other. The crap that the herd has generated will impact my business for months to come, even though I don't hold anything directly related to it. Not a fun game at all. I hope it goes out of fashion as hedge fund investors stop and think twice.
