Yup, still doing things for Mom, as are all my siblings. My nephew is getting married next month, so we are all trying to make sure she gets to the wedding and also to the lake place which is her spiritual heaven (and mine).

I bet I spent less than $100 creating my computer office in a closet. It's really cool. When I'm done, maybe I'll post a picture. There will not be any "before" pictures. It's too embarrassing.

The hardest part was being careful with the rewiring, since in a small space everything has to be bundled and sheathed in order to avoid being a rat's nest. Everything worked first time when I got it all together.

I just got two new LED light bars for underneath the counter so when I look at the printer and computers under there I can see what I'm doing. They're on roll-out dollies, and it's really easy to get into them for plugging in stuff. Best system I ever had, and the smallest, best use of space, cleanest, easiest to conceal, and the whole ball of wax.

I can appreciate your feeling good about getting time for yourself. Actually, I'm not getting extra time, just spending more energy directed at things I want to do and less time at email, TV, SI rapping and so forth.
