Good for the Seattle Times and Jim MacIsaac, but I found that if you dig a little deeper you find that transportation costs for every puget sound resident could actually average $1,257 if the ballot measure is passed. At least that is the figure the Washington Policy Center has come up with.

I'm not going to complain about it here, seeing as so far the state hasn't come up with a plan to accommodate mass transit in my area.....even though they've been taxing me regularly for the RTA for about 5 years. And so far, the state has not included any improvements to the only other full time route from west to east of the state beside I-90......highway 2.......in years.

I will write the obligatory letter to my representatives........and surely receive the standard letter back in return.

I'll bet all those transit riders......those without a car......are elated. No doubt the bill or measure (what ever) will pass.
