The cdma issue for Nokia is not royalties on Qualcomm chipsets but the rights to their cdma patents that passed through to other handset vendors (ie their competitors). Nokia is more interested in getting a piece of that royalty action rather than royaties on Qualcomm chipsets. Altman et al aren't doing us (Qcom shareholders) any favours by painting the issue as one of their (Nokia) handset royalties verses our (Qualcomm) chipset royalties. That's nothing but a red herring.
