Tim, I going to evaluate the issue by the way the world does, and not the way the American right does. The US is 41st in lifespan. That's a disgrace period. Instead of asking the right questions, you are defending the indefensible. Shame!

Ranking doesn't mean much. The difference between multiple countries and the US might mean something, at least more than a ranking, but even that doesn't tell you much about the health care system, as life expectancy is more a result of other factors than it is a result of how health insurance is handled.

Now if you want to attack the US for those other factors, than fine, if you can nail them down correctly, but don't pretend that changing how we handle health insurance would make them go away.
