The word religion is not even mentioned ONCE in your thread charter.

I don't see how religion and politics can be separated, therefore politics and foreign affairs. A very odd world you live in where religion doesn't matter. It seems to be a primary driver behind many critical disputes in foreign affairs around the world.

My request is simple - keep religion out of this thread. Why is it hard for you ? there are criminal elements belonging to every known religion on the planet.

Because I have not shut my eyes to the fact that theocracies exist, and many people would like to set up even more theocracies. A theocracy by definition is both religious and political and extremely pertinent to foreign affairs, especially during a period where my country is at war with religious theocrats in other countries.

Why is it hard for me to discuss Osama bin Laden or Ayatollah Khamenei or Muqtadah al Sadr or Hassan Nasrallah without mentioning religion? A better question is, how can it be easy for you do discuss them without mentioning religion, which is the core and cause of their ideology? These people are not criminals. They would be easier to deal with if they were. Criminals just want to make money. Theocrats have orders from God to rule the world.

How can anybody discuss Radical Islam and not mention Islam?

Are we supposed to just ignore the elephant in the living room?
