Please note the relative size of this as well: 0.15 for a mean of ten, whereas the last decade loses the top honor for the single hottest year by 0.02 for one year. How does somebody screw up looking at this as bad as these nitwits? I have a new idea after looking at these clowns react to this data change. Scientists should purposely plant a few minor bugs like this, then drop some hints and let the deniers "discover" them. Further when correcting them, the scientists should act guilty and hint that this was a major flaw in their theories. The Deniers will eat it up and stick their heads a few inches deeper in the sand each time. I want to see them truly screwed in the end. Let's help them accomplish what they so dearly desire anyway. I want to make sure none of them jump ship, they need to go down with it. The best thing for science in the USA is simply to live with the fools for the next decade or two, but make sure that such fools never are believed by the US public in the future. It is a rare opportunity, because these individuals are happy to assist in their own execution. Lets be kind to them.
