These single-pay Government medical systems combine the worst HMO that ever existed with a Government bureaucracy.

You know if we get one costs will be uncontrollable, and some sort of rationing system will be used. If you want extra from it you will have to know a congressman. And boy, will they all love that! They get to play God.

Canadians in general are pretty happy with their health care system.

Results: In 2000-01, 84.4% of Canadians rated the quality of the overall health services they received as being either excellent or very good and 84.6% reported that they were very or somewhat satisfied with those services.
