But many Christians are quite intolerant, depending on what issues you are discussing. Most true believers accept the Biblical teaching that only through Christ can you be saved. Many are intolerant of gays, of blacks (KKK!) of abortion. However, in AMerica, we have done a great job of not allowing intolerance to get out of control, or permitting any one belief system to dictate to the rest. It has sometimes been a battle, though.

Throughout history, Christianity has been as guilty as any of violent intolerance.
I was just mentioning on another thread a book about a period in Spain from the 700s to the 1400s where Jews, CHristians, and Moslems lived together cooperatively because of mutual tolerance.
