There is weakness in N Cal as well, but mainly on the fringes and in the low-income areas. Yet in the silicon valley high-end itself there is so much recent wealth that lots of folks pay cash for their (way over-priced) houses. That demographic should be relatively immune from the crunch I would think.

Unless Bush blasts Iran, of course, per the previous thread. Or Al Qaeda blasts us.
