Brumar89;

Gosh, you take this stuff a lot more seriously than I do. I didn't know any of the people you mentioned and had to look them up. Are they really pushing their agenda in schools? As atheism? As a religion? Where? If so naughty naughty. I've never seen it. Here we have to fight against the extreme religious right as they try to get voted onto school boards. It's a constant problem but there is never a hint of anyone from the anti-god side pushing that agenda. Maybe it depends on where you live?

Atheism is a religious viewpoint
Well I disagree - but in reading the definitions, depending on which definition you pick, one could argue that it is a religious viewpoint as you suggest. I think of it as the absence of religion. Absence of belief in god - or God. I'm not an atheist, but I find them benign and usually very cerebral. I've never once had one try to convert me - UNLIKE the constant drubbing at my door by some of the religious. I know several, but they sure never push their viewpoint.

You presented your case well. I respect that, but we will have to disagree.
