Penntrade, I just spoke with them about that and gave them my phone numbers. I could not tell if it was onerous or just a sign of the times?

Re: Penntrade's new security measures. When logging in, you can click ONE of any FOUR phone numbers where the automated system will call you back or send a text message to. Such a phone number could be your cell phone. Given it's 2007, Penntrade assumes that most of their customers have a cell phone and thus could trade away from their homes.

Having been a victom of a hacker into Fido and Atrade while on a trip, using wireless card, I found out the best way to deter these guys:

Dont ever use keystrokes for logins and passwords!
Use copy/paste from any wordfile to do it

However, I will never enter into Fido or Atrade while on a trip, such as now. I use Yahoo for quotes and telephone for orders
