yes, but a new version of 1999 into 2008 is also a possibility.
For your scenario to work out, we should see the market turn

Exactly. I've been a bear on housing and the dollar. But they certainly are much closer to a bottom than two years ago<g>. Everything else who knows.. We might have had our stock market crash already just like last year or we get the big crash early in the Fall with a strong fourth quarter rally painting things nice and green for the year no matter what.. Remember third year election cycle..
